Teacher & Club Grants
The AFHS PTSA is proud to support our teachers, staff, and clubs by providing grants that help advance educational enrichment for our students or provide needed resources or supplies that are not afforded by the school's budget.
AFHS Staff can apply for an instructional, professional development, department, or club grant (new & existing clubs). If you oversee a club, please share this opportunity with the club members. Note: you must be a PTSA member to apply.

Grants support requests that:
Enhance Curriculum: provides enriching, supportive and relevant educational experiences and/or further improve the quality of the learning environment for students;
Impact: has the greatest impact by affecting the largest number of AFHS teachers & students possible;
Would Not Be Otherwise Funded: could not or would not be funded or provided by AFHS or WCPSS, nor are easily donated by the parent community (such as general school/office supplies);
Examples: grants used to obtain durable materials for use over multiple school years (ie. technology, books, science lab items), or non-durable items (such as educational subscriptions & project supplies)
