Get INVOLVED for 2026–2027
We’re looking for a few more parents to help make next year at Apex Friendship High School a success. Most roles require just a few hours each month.
Open roles include Vice President and several committee chair/member positions (fundraising, communications, spirit wear, and more). Many roles are flexible or can be shared, and no prior experience is needed. As we did not receive any interest or nominations, we moved our voting date to Wed. May 27th General Meeting at 6:30 for PTSA members & Nominees Only (TBD Virtual or In Person)
Here's the reality: We NEED MORE Hands. Please consider donating your time & skills for the new year. Otherwise, the PTSA will be unable to continue functioning next year. We are a welcoming group and enjoy working with each other. We would love for you to be part of our passionate and dedicated team of volunteers.

Applications must be submitted by 11:59 pm on Sunday, MAY 10th.
Eligibility to apply for Class of 2026
Student must be a graduating senior at AFHS in 2026.
Student must be an AFHS PTSA member prior to applying. Membership will be verified. (You can join through ‘Membership’ on www.afhsptsa.org)
Student must have a minimum 3.5 unweighted GPA.
Student must complete all required sections of the application.
Student must be furthering their education in the Summer/Fall semester following graduation. These grants are to help with costs associated with collegiate higher education.
Student must indicate they have a need for financial assistance and do not anticipate other grants/scholarships/awards will cover the entire balance due to the academic institution for the upcoming year. Applicants who do not indicate they have a financial need will be removed from consideration.

GotSneakers
AFHS PTSA is excited to announce our partnership with GotSneakers as part of our fundraising!
GotSneakers is a non-profit with the mission to recycle and reuse quality pre-loved sneakers. Our sneaker drive fundraiser keeps sneakers out of landfills and reduces toxic chemicals from being released in our air and soil. All reusable sneakers from our sneaker drive fundraiser program are recirculated to secondhand markets so people can access quality, pre-owned footwear at affordable prices. All heavily used and damaged footwear is recycled to reuse materials or to convert waste into new energy.
Donate your sneakers, save the planet, and help us raise funds — all without lifting more than a foot!
Collection boxes are in the hallways at the bus loop entrance and the carpool entrance plus between the entrance & front office doors at the main entrance. THANK YOU!
