 The AFHS PTSA will sponsor a Senior Baccalaureate on 

Sunday, June 8, 2025 at 4pm 

at the Hope Community Church-Apex Campus.  The Baccalaureate is a pre-commencement religious program designed to honor the graduating senior class. This ceremony reflects on the graduates' accomplishments while celebrating and blessing them in their future endeavors.  This is an optional ceremony for graduates, and all faiths are welcome. 

We are honored to have Apex Mayor, Jacques Gilbert, as our guest speaker again this year!  In addition to Mayor Gilbert, we are looking for graduates to be participant speakers during the ceremony.  If your graduate is interested in a small speaking part, please complete this form Senior Speaker Interest Form by May 18th (8pm EST).  

Hope Community Church (2080 E. Williams St, Apex, NC 27539) is a large venue, thus, we are not limiting the amount of family and friends who attend.  We do ask that your graduate complete the Baccalaureate Registration by May 25th (8pm EST).  This registration will allow us to include the graduate's name in our program, as well as, plan for providing light refreshments.

Participating graduates should arrive at Hope Community Church between 3:15-3:30pm dressed in their cap, gown, and stole. Graduates will proceed into the auditorium as a class.  

The church lobby will be open for families and friends at 3:15pm, however, the auditorium doors will not open until 3:30pm.
